Sherry Helgoe MA, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (mfc38590), has been providing therapy to individuals, couples and families for the last 16 years and has a private practice location in Yorba Linda, California.
In addition to working in the field of psychology since 1995, she has been working in the real estate and short sale industry since 2006 educating agents, brokers, real estate teams, loan officers, title reps and home warranty reps on how to meet the challenges facing homeowners and home buyers during the short sale process.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction in Mind-Body Medicine: A 7-Day Residential Training Program
This training provided an opportunity to directly experience mindfulness and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) with Drs. Jon Kabat-Zinn and Saki Santorelli, to learn to practice mindfulness meditation as it is taught in the Stress Reduction Clinic at the University of Massachusetts, Michigan. Learning objectives included:
- Integrating mindful approaches to the experience and expression of stress, overwhelm, grief and anxiety within ourselves and when working with others.
- Understanding instructing and guiding others in the formal and informal methods of mindfulness-based stress reduction practices.
Sherry successfully completed this residential training in February 2001 and applies the concepts in her business consulting and therapy practice.
